If you have any questions, email hello@lovehayne.com.

What we collect

Staying or camping. Cottage bookings are made through Airbnb. Campsite bookings are made through Pitchup. Those companies handle the booking, payment and their own guest data. We only see what they share with us as hosts (your name, stay dates, and any messages you send).

The mailing list. If you join our list, we keep your email (and your name if you give it) so we can send occasional news from the farm. We use Mailchimp to do this.

Email. If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can reply.

The website. Like most sites, ours sets a few cookies (WordPress, the mailing-list form, review widgets). We do not use them to advertise to you elsewhere.

We do not sell your details.

Why we use it

To take bookings, answer you, and send the newsletter you asked for. The legal basis is usually the contract for your stay, or your consent for the list.

Who else sees it

  • Airbnb and Pitchup, for bookings
  • Mailchimp, for the mailing list (their servers may be outside the UK)
  • Our hosting and email providers, to keep the site and inbox running

How long we keep it

Booking records for as long as we need them for the stay, tax and any follow-up. Mailing-list addresses until you unsubscribe. Emails for as long as the conversation is useful.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold, or unsubscribe from the list at any time. Email hello@lovehayne.com. You can also complain to the ICO.
